They will summon the applicant for an interview. That’s how. However it’s at the IO discretion if they deem the initial evidence submitted as enough to waive the need for another interview. Also, holding the “green card” over you spouse’s head as leverage because you’re unhappy with your marriage only benefits them because they already have s green card and they can remove conditions on their own by filing the divorce waiver roc.

how long does it take to get an interview date after biometr

Could take a year....could take a few weeks.....depends on several factors.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

What if I withdraw.

There is nothing to withdraw after the beneficiary has a green card. You’re liable for the i864 until they become a us citizen and they can remove conditions on their own.

Ok gotcha. But I think you would’ve been better off letting him fend for it himself if you think he used you. You would be totally over it and removed by now. Although you would still be on the hook for the 864. But once he gets his citizenship that releases you from that responsibility.

They are incorrect.  It is not your I-751.

Even if you withdraw as joint, he can still file on his own. He gets a good lawyer and that’s basically it. Specially if you’re trying to sabotage him.

You have two separate issues:

1.  Marriage-  The logical step forward would be to seek counseling or divorce.

2.  Immigration-  You can choose to either attend the interview or do nothing.

I get it. Don’t create more stress for yourself if you feel used. You didn’t really have to file at all. Let him figure it out.

Growth is painful. Change is painful.

But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong.

You'll find yourself losing every ounce of self control.

And please, don't set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.
