1. On the I - 485 in Part 1 where is asks for the "Expires on Date", is this referring to the I-94 expiration date or the expiration date on the K-1 Visa?

2. On the I - 765 number 9 question .......SS# and the G-325-A U.S. Social Security #.

Is a SS # required to be able to submit the forms or can it be submitted with NONE in the box?

3. G-325 A The very bottom of the form in the last box where is asks for the name and the Alien Registration Number. Is this same A# that comes from the I-797 NOA?

1) They want the I-94 expiry date

2) If you don't have an SSN, just put 'none' - you don't need one for AOS.

3) Yup! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Is the I-797 NOA the same at the NOA2?

I still have not recieved my NOA2 hard copy (129F approved May3rd, K1 interview June26). I called and was told they would mail again last week. My address has not changed. I am visiting my parents for 3 weeks and I've recieved other forwarded mail. Think I can submitt for AOS with my CRIS 129-F application approval e-mail and the print out from the online account?

Is the Alien # also written on the K1-visa itself?

How many copies of the G-325 A do they want with the submission for AOS? I remember with the I-129 F they wanted three. Forgot to ask in the original post.

Thanks,

Chuck D

The G-325A form is a 4 page one, just fill in page 1 and print all 4. Only your Chinese spouse needs one, and sign all 4 pages.

Yes that is NOA2 for the I-129F, it is needed for filing AOS after marriage on a K-1 visa. Most POE officers write the A# on the backside of the I-94 card, and also sometimes it is on the Visa.

The US Post office for the most part wont forward USCIS mail, they just return it to USCIS, probably what happened to your NOA2.

Worse case is you may have to file form I-824 to request a replacement NOA2, I have read of many sending copy of NOA from I-824 and an explanation why no I-129F NOA2 and that it will be brought to AOS interview. If you do file I-824 to get a replacement, do it before July 29, after that the fee goes up.

Dan is right - there are 4 copies.

It's so much easier this time because the info is the same + your wife's present address and unemployed (unless she got an ead in jfk).

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
