- Pleas remember to only speak English in the upper section of the forum. Your native language can be used only in the regional section of VJ. As per the site's Terms of Service (TOS), please do not use another language on this board outside of the appropriate Regional section.

- Since this thread is country specific topic, I am moving the thread to the appropriate section --- Regional (Caribbean).

- Thread moved from IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures to "Regional (Caribbean)" section

Thank you for understanding,

Omg really 🤣🤣🤣no Spanish

You can continue to speak Spanish because I moved the thread, like I mentioned in the moderator message. But to answer your question, you can't speak Spanish outside of the appropriate sections.

It is the policy everybody signs up for when they join the forum.

Latest I've seen is august 16. Early Sept Dates SHOULD be scheduled for interviews in mid December. My wife's case was complete September 11th

Wow your the closest one to my date. My husband was completed September 13th. God willing maybe we get an interview letter next month. By any chance do you know if a person that has a b1/b2 visa can still travel back and forth when they are waiting for the cr1 interview. Because my husband has been traveling  back and forth all these months  put were not sure about now since we're waiting for the interview.

I believe yes since he got the travel visa before applying for the cr1/ir1. I asked my lawyer this in the past and she said since I already had sent in my i130 for my wife I couldn't get her a travel visa since it's a non-immigrant visa and obviously the spousal one is showing intent to immigrate. As long as his travel visa is valid still I don't see the problem. But I'm also not a lawyer or immigration officer haha

Jajajaja jajajaja for not being an immigration specialist, you sure have a good understanding of all this. Even calling them is almost impossible

Yes still says at NVC. saw in a fb group today some people with case complete Aug 19th got interview scheduled. So getting closer. If it goes past January and nothing then I'd try calling again and see mbut calling nvc or embassy is basically useless as they'll just give you a runaround every time.

Of course. There is a huge ongoing thread (with over 2,000 replies) discussing traveling on B2 visas during the process...

Well, since we're approaching 90 days, hopefully this week is the week. I'm pretty sure they're going to assign January interviews starting this week (usually happens Wednesday or Thursday mornings). I just hope the assigned interviews don't stop RIGHT before my wife's cc Sept. 11. I can't bear another month haha. Cause if it's not this month, then it's definitely next month for February interviews.
