I agree with you 100% ... maybe i worded it wrong. God has already won the battle. Yes yes he has. But you see Satan doesn't yet want to believe that. Which is why we are in a battle. We are to arm ourselves as if we are in a battle. Why? Because we are in a battle. Though we've won, we still have to fight. You see what i'm saying? It's a battle for souls really. Has God conquered over Satan? Yes and your right he is a creation of God. I guess we are fighting against that force in essence everyday, so we still need Gods help. We've won the WAR but we still are fighting a battle.

Well that's not quite what I meant.. I'll explain my point of view. Yes, we're at war with satan. He believes he can lead us all to hell and so he tries day and night. God allows this in order to test us. Those of us who fight temptation and remain faithful and obedient will win by God's mercy. Those who succumb to that temptation and follow satan will lose. (Our views are going to kind of differ here because I don't believe in "once saved always saved") That was my point though, God is not in a war as He is far above that and there is nothing in all of creation that He can't undo by mere will. We are the ones at war but, if we are faithful and obedient, we have God on our side. I hope that makes sense.

yes i know.. but when you disregard others as a non-believer... it's still kinda disrespect of there other believ isnt it.. that's how i feel anyway.. coz i'd never call anybody a non-believer coz for me, they believ in something.. if i call them a non-believer, i'd indicate that they are a non-believer of my religion.

well.. it's nothing big.. just it bugs me everytime.. eventhough i know it's about believ in god and not.

I don't believe anyone states "non believer" to intentionally be disrespectful. I guess you just get so caught up in the discussion, it's just easier to type in and hope other will know how to differitiate it.

Could you please elaborate on "guided evolution"? Does that involve us being apes at some point?

Absolutely not!!! That is one of those misconceptions about what Darwin actually wrote. Nowhere in Darwin's writings did he EVER say man evolved from apes. Fundamentalists twisted his words to try and turn people against his whole theory on evolution, which centers on survival of the fittest and natural selection.

When I use the term "guided evolution", I mean that there was an outside force "helping" it along. If you take the complexity of the human eyeball for example, the odds of it evolving into it’s current form, over the short period of time man has even existed on this planet, it would be like taking all the pieces of a Rolex watch, throwing them up in the air, and when they landed on the ground, they would be in the form of a perfectly functional watch!

Not everyone either opposed to or embarrased by the shrill bible thumping crowd is an anti-Christian. Often times, one could make a good case to the contrary. No, I do not expect you to understand that.

Bible thumper (also Bible basher) is a derisive term used to describe Christian fundamentalists, or anyone perceived as aggressively pushing their religious beliefs upon those who do not share them. As an insult, its target domain is broad and can often extend to anyone engaged in a public show of religiosity, fundamentalist or not.

The term alludes to a preacher thumping his hand hard down on the lectern and the Bible on it to emphasize a point during a sermon.
