Trump just quietly cut legal immigration by up to 65%

https://www.vox.com/2019/10/9/20903541/trump-proclamation-legal-immigration-health-insurance

And in many cases, slows up processing as much as double the time, etc...  Chain migration changes, insurance, etc.

Time will tell I guess.  Some things appear as "fact" that turn out to be fake news.  (MSM)  Other things start out as a "conspiracy" stuff, and eventually turn out to be truth.  Time will tell I guess.  I don't do Reddit, so I don't know the level of BS they post, and for Vox, I really don't know their level of truth or BS.

Yeah the keyword was "almost". If you compare it to the length of time the earth has been around it is a mere fraction of time. 😁

I have read Curbed before and I like it. But the main site of Vox is literally unreadable to me

CurbedLA and EaterLA are excellent. What I think is interesting is that the comments section on CurbedLA articles tends to skew right.

I know a woman in he Philippines, who, on a family petition, is still waiting after more than a decade.  However, once approved, she will most likely get her green card "almost immediately"

I was really trying to emphasize the poor writing of a site like Vox.  Applying for LPR and obtaining the GC immediately.  They, Vox, left off a lot.
