I agree, start researching the locality you will be moving to and see about enrolling your children.  Most schools have a fairly comprehensive website now.

Make sure you keep the vaccination worksheet the panel doctor did for your son, the school district will need to see that.

Assuming you want your son at public school: You decide where to move, then just go to the local public school and enroll your son. If you can, bring copies of his last school reports/school records that may be helpful to place him in the correct year/classes (for example most schools from middle school on have different math streams).

The school will likely want to see some form of proof of residency to enrol your son. What they want will vary by district. 

if you plan to choose your area to live in based on how good the school district is, then greatschools.org can be a useful site to help you judge.
