Oh wow!?! 😳 Maybe all LPR cases will be processed by California now and the other centers process mainly USC I-130’s?

from 8.5-11 months to 20.5-26.5.

UPD: Now NSC is 34 Months to 44.5 Months for LPR filing I-130. I hope they do some restructuring this week, maybe cases reshuffling to organize the process and make it go faster for everybody and that's why time are going crazy for all the centers. But this whole thing gives me heebie jeebies.

As mentioned above, California seems to have the fastest processing times for LPR petitioners. I am certain that all these delays are related to both, the executive order to hold the green card for overseas applicants (extended to inside applicants too) and due to the reduction in immigration personnel. Therefore citizen petitions are being prioritized. So unfortunately everything have come to a grinding halt with with the new policies.

Hopefully we do not have to wait 4 years to see if there is a policy change.

Best regards and good luck to all!

Approved

NOA1: October 10, 2019

NOA2: June 16, 2020 (8 months)

Texas Service Center, no transfer, no RFE. I filed a "case outside of normal processing time" request in May, received a generic "cases are processed in the order they are received" response (not accurate!)

Text message and email notification this morning about a "case update". USCIS website still says "in process" but "case closed" above it; formal I-130 Approval letter is in our documents section. Good luck everyone!
