Which center were you?

Originally Nebraska, transferred to Texas Feb. 23. We put in an inquiry on May 28 due to case being outside of processing time, received a standard response yesterday and our noa2/approval on our myuscis portal late last night.

Sorry but what the standard response ?

The email that we received in response to our email seemed like an automated response (sorry, poor wording on my part for saying “standard”). Basically it said “We have received your request, your case is currently in line for processing, Cases are processing the order in which they were received”. It was a bit discouraging as it didn’t seem to answer our question at all but we got our noa2 the same day.
If you are still waiting then I definitely recommend giving the USCIS a call. If you ask to speak to a tier 2 representative, they can give you an idea as to what’s going on with your case, maybe even if someone is currently working on it or why there might be a hold-up. The agent that I spoke to last week was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He even made it seem like he would have been able to tell if there was an issue with the case or if they were investigating anything.

We did it thro the chat and got a reply a week after ... Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. and it’s already over 10days since I got the reply and nothing ! It’s so depressing

I agree with you completely - this whole process can be very discouraging and is definitely not designed to help us cope with the stress and separation from our loved ones. I am very thankful to have found this community of people that understands what each of us are going through.
I tried to use the chat and ended up getting a lot of conflicting information. If at all possible, definitely try to call and speak to a tier 2 agent. The person that I spoke to was the first friendly government voice I had heard through this whole process and really helped put us at ease.
I know this is hard, but you’ve made it this far so I also know that you are strong! It’s hard to see others celebrate when you are still waiting, but hang tough and know that your time will come! We will all be here for you until then :)
