Hello! I received a letter saying I am in queue for an interview on Aug 17 2019. Does this mean I may not get an interview until August 2020?

I don't think that long. That's crazy wait for interview too long

It’s possible, I have a cc date of 2/19/19 and still no interview, so far it seems like a 12 month wait

This thread is specifically about the US embassy in Juarez, Mexico.  And yes, it happens to have long interview wait times for immigrant visas.

I Sent the i-130 april 2018 and by 2/19/19 i was sent an email stating i am waiting for the interview . As of now nothing yet I have called and have been told this is the most back logged they’ve ever seen Ciudad Juárez be almost a year waiting
