Hi all,

My mother-in-law lives with my husband and I and she is petitioning for her daughter (under 21) to come to the U.S. The petition has been approved and we are working on the Affidavit of Support. MIL has no income and hasn't had any in years, so my husband (her son) and I are completing the documents and using our income. My income alone is more than enough, but obviously we file joint income taxes etc. The form asks whether anyone else's income in the household is included. Should we add him anyway? Should MIL put him on her form as a household member and include his income? Or should we just both fill out separate Affidavits of Support (I-864 for me as a non-relative; I-864A for him as the son/brother)?

Let me know what you all think!
