I take all the precautions I can not to get pregnant, but if I did, I would not bring an unwanted child into the world when there is no need.

But is killing the unwanted child better? There are soooo soooo many people who are on HUGE waiting lists to adopt a child. Why kill it when you can enhance both the child's life and the adoptive parent's life?

Because I don't see it as killing (this is not a point worth arguing about, let me just say now), I definitely can't do my master's program pregnant and so I'd have to sacrifice that, because it's my body and I don't want it hijacked by a fetus, and because I am a very maternal person (look at me and my pets for chrissakes) and there's no way I could look at a baby I had and give it up for adoption. I know that about myself, so I'm not about to put myself in that position. Each element of a decision like that is very personal.

and side comment to another post... If someone was on Birth control AND using condoms.. Maybe that baby was just Meant To Be......

But yes, the couple who got pregnant with both forms of BC in use decided it was meant to be and had the baby, which turned out to be twins. They're super cute.

Have you met any friends in the area you live in, maybe you could confide in them. My wife has an aunt in Germany that she can confide in and that seems to help her. Try to keep an open communication with your husband to ensure he understands how you feel and understand him. You might seek counseling or at least try discussing your feelings and situation with the priest/minister of your church.

Most Filipinas I know, including my wife, would never think of abortions because of their Catholic upbringing so this wouldn't even be considered as an option.

it is murder, especially when the person, or couple getting pregnant had sex WILLINGLY and ended up pregnant.........its NOT the unborn childs fault that its parents decided to go ahead and screw around but didnt want to live with the outcome! its bullshet and it makes me sick that there are people in the world like you!

Definitely rich, considering the little boy you gave birth to and leave behind everytime you go to live w/ you husband who committed marriage fraud w/ someone else right before you married him to live in another country and never once mention missing the boy nearly as much as you whine abt missing your husband................................................

in cases where you are having sex willingly, abortion is an easy way out for stupidness. if you think you are 'protected' from getting pregnant and still having sex...and whooops it happens, and then you say 'oh ill just kill it cause im not ready' well you arent mature enuf to have sex.

Leaving your kids after they are already born to go live with a foreigner in a foreign country is abortion, it's just later on.
