Not sarcastic, I just wouldn't want to have kids right now. So if I got pregnant, I wouldn't have it. Maybe that will be different 10 years from now.

Just give him some time. I don't think he's disappointed but maybe shocked since it was unexpected. He'll come around. You'll see. In the meantime, take care of yourself and enjoy the miracle of life. Being pregnant is a special time. I'm happy for you. Congratulations!

If you don't want to have kids right now I don't see why you'd get pregnant in the first place. It's not like we're in 1700 and we don't have tons of options to prevent that. Of course there are exceptions...

Well, that's what happened to the OP. Unplanned pregnancies happen all the time. I think most American women of my generation that I know use birth control pills (if they can) and condoms or another method as well if they don't want to get pregnant. But I know a girl who got pregnant using birth control and condoms, so it's not entirely failsafe.

and also i want to ask question from u guys again..its about her ex girlfriend..should i be insecure being them as bestfriends? when i knew my husband and we started as friends she is still with her ex gf and then few months later they broke up and and it became me and him.before we got married and still in my country my husband has always been so honest to me that when he talks to his ex gf or sees her,he always makes it a point to ask permission to me or let me know if he is talking to her.last monday ,my husband lied to me. he told me that he is going to worlk cos his boss called him up to have oever time but then i found out that he didnt worked and when i told him that i knew already that he didnt go to work he admitted to went to see hes cousin first and then went to the house of her ex girlfriend to have someone to talk with.we were fighting and what hurst me most is lying to me. his ex girlfriend is really a big issue to me,he never hide about his ex gf and always tells me that what he feels for her ex is just a sister and a bestfriend.it came to a point that day that i asked him to choose between me and our baby or his ex gf and he just answered me that he will not choose anything cos if i love him i wouldnt asked him to choose? im i wrong to do this? should i be jelous to his ex gf?cos i feel like her feelings is more important to him than my feelings. on that day when he sees her..he just admiited to her that he just got married and gonna be a father soon. like the girl knows already about me but she didnt know before that i am married to him. and i was thinkinng why it took him so long to tell her everything about us being married..thats also a big stress out to me cos i really feel he is so afraid to hurt her feelings but then he dont think that he is hurting my feelings evertime they talk on the phone in front of me and never mention my name to her unlike the when he talks to his other friends and cousins..he can always insert my name during their conversations.my life now is really confused...and why these things needs to happen to us.

in cases where you are having sex willingly, abortion is an easy way out for stupidness. if you think you are 'protected' from getting pregnant and still having sex...and whooops it happens, and then you say 'oh ill just kill it cause im not ready' well you arent mature enuf to have sex.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

btw, abortion is a copout for selfish people. I'm a single father, raising my 2 year old, and if I can do it, imagine a married couple doing it...

Good for you raising a 2 year old on your own--that must be difficult. I certainly wouldn't want to do it and I'm glad I live in a time where I don't have to. I take all the precautions I can not to get pregnant, but if I did, I would not bring an unwanted child into the world when there is no need.
