Well this article is a load of crock. I have lived all over Texas and I never found it to be like that. When I was in the dating stage of my life I met lots of nice people in different events from all walks of life rich, poor, ugly, handsome, nice, weird. You don't have to be blond in Texas to get a rich man. My hair is dark as can be and I had the pleasure of turning those rich guys down I was not after money. But I guess these women have no character so they desperately do any thing for money and an easy life. How sad when money is more important than love and companionship. Still just because this is the lame way to get a man for a few, does not mean that all Texas girls are gold diggers.

Seriously, income may not have correlation with being rich. Someone with $ 100k income might not have a dime in savings because of expensive lifestyle.

Plus, some jobs in Third World country pays more than $30k per year. And again, depends on how you spend it, you might be rich or you still can live from paycheck to paycheck.

My answer was based on my experience because my third world job paid me more than $30k and I did not feel rich & I was not rich.
