I-485 I-864 RFE - Impact on AP for Travel and Work

Hi all,

 

Following on from my previous thread around receiving an RFE to get a joint sponsor for the I-864 Affidavit of Support, I have a quick question about the status of the Advanced Parole requests for Travel and Work Authorisations.

 

I submitted those requests with the I-485, so I'm wondering whether it's known that the RFE I've received will put those two requests on hold or if they are treated independently?

Yes it does.   They will remain suspended until the i485 is back to normal processing

Thank you for the quick response. That’s what I feared. I guess my parents are coming here for Christmas then! Ha ha
