I just called USCIS again, just to inquire about the status of our case.

I was astonished to hear that they mailed an RFE notice on APRIL 10!! which I never received. I called at least 5 times since then to inquire about the status, and not ONE representative I spoke to told me about an RFE being generated. They logged all my calls, too!!

APRIL 10 was 2 months ago!!!

2-7-07 - Married in Rome

3-22-07 - Mailed to Chicago

3-30-07 - NOA1

6-08-07 - NOA2

6-14-07 - NOA2 Received in the mail

6-27-07 - NVC received our case

6-29-07 - Case forwarded to Naples, Italy

7-02-07 - Naples received our case

9-11-07 - Interview in Naples

9-13-07 - Arrived in the USA TOGETHER!!

AOS Timeline

9-15-07 - Mailed AOS to Chicago Lockbox

9-24-07 - NOAs generated

9-26-07 - NOAs received

Were you checking case status on the USCIS website?

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I am checking the case status online 3 times a day, every day.

No, I also call (800) 375-5283 about once a week and speak to a representative

APRIL 10 was 2 months ago!!!

Thats ridiculous... Did you tell them that you were calling before to inquire status. April 10th RFE and they tell you know.. Thats not fair..

Now I am scared about USCIS handling of our cases. Hopefully you will get the mail this time.. and everything will work out for you.

2007-10-30 -- Got the K3 visa from Mumbai consulate !!

2008-01-21 -- POE

AOS/EAD Timeline

2008-02-22 -- Mailed I485 & EAD application to Chicago.

2008-02-25 -- packet received at chicago lockbox.

2008-02-29 -- NOA's for I485 and I-765.

2008-03-03 -- NOA's received in mail.

2008-03-11 -- Biometrics appointment NOA -- appointment date - 26th March.

2008-04-26, 2008-05-02 -- EAD card production ordered two email notices

2008-04-30 -- AOS Initial Interview notice - interview on June 25 2008.

2008-05-06 -- EAD approved notice !! after card production ordered :)

2008-05-07 -- EAD received in mail. SSN applied through local office.

2008-06-25 -- AOS interview at Durham USCIS office. Have to submit an updated I693.

2008-06-27 -- Hand delivered I693 to Durham office. Got the approval on conditional green card :)

Thank you for your support, kss. I didn't have to tell him, - it was a really nice guy I spoke to this time, and he told me himself all the times I had called - they are logged on their system. He didn't understand why didn't anyone tell me about it beforehand, either. I spoke to different representatives every time, so at least one of them should have been considerate enough to call on it!

Keep calling them we literaly anoyed the h*** out of them calling so much , and check your on line e mail status , as you see from my timeline it took them a LOOOOOOOOOONG time to send our RFE , last time we calld they said something about us having to call the congressman to help us , ( what ever that ment maybe someone here can help you with that step ,,

we didnt have to go trough that step we finaly resived the suposently send twise RFE two days after the last call, had to waite almost 2 month too) best of luck Lona

Actually, I had two expedite requests submitted then, and also had a congressional aide inquire on our behalf - due to a medical emergency.

Since then it's been quiet and "pending", and now THIS!!!
