USCIS Biometrics Walk-in in 2019

Does anybody have experience with a USCIS Application Center walk-in for biometrics / fingerprints appointments after June 13th 2019? Did the center reject you saying they don't accept that anymore?

Our story is: My wife came here on K1 and filed for AoS. We changed address to Virginia and shortly after received appointment letter for Pittsburgh, PA, which is our previous address. I mistakenly decided to cancel the original appointment for Pittsburgh and she was put back in the USCIS appointment queue. Now we want to just go back to the original appointment for October 15th 2019 in Pittsburgh despite the appointment being cancelled. We called USCIS call center several times trying to get the best answer and they tell me that walk-ins are no longer accepted as of June 13th 2019 and we can't uncancel the appointment. They also mentioned we can declare we have an emergency but only if she is leaving the US, which isn't our case.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

I answered my own question.

Went to Pittsburgh office with appointment letter originally scheduled for the following week at the same location.

Had no problems going through and the process was fast.
