I-130 - Evidence of Prior Relationship - is 10pg sappy write-up w/ pics enough?

Situation: dated my wife in the Philippines for 2 years, and we travelled through 5 different countries together during that time (not US though, she's never been here). We got married in the Philippines this summer, and now I'm getting ready to submit the I-130 application.

I understand we need "evidence of prior relationship", so I wrote a 10 page brochure describing our courtship, from meeting on an airplane all the way to my proposal in Australia, and our wedding in Tagatay. I included pictures of each significant event, and flight numbers for all twelve trips I took to see her, and or course, wedding photos.

Is what I have prepared sufficient to establish evidence of prior relationship, or are they looking for something really specific?

p.s. If anyone would like to view my sappy 10pg love letter, just DM and I can provide a link.

I'm curious as to where you saw that "evidence of prior relationship" is needed.   I don't mean to sound harsh, but Evidence of a bona fide marriage is what you really need to front load your I-130 petition.  For couples not living together, that usually includes things like evidence of time spent together, your marriage certificate, continued communication, and legal documents created as part of a normal marriage.   This VJ guide is pretty good.       https://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1/

Good Luck.....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

In your parlance, does what I propose fulfill the "evidence of time spent together".

Yes.  I just wouldn't get too deep in details of courtship.  I would concentrate on bona fide evidence after marriage....just my opinion..  The fact that you have made 12 trips to visit is great............There are quite a few PI experts here........

No need for a full love story. Save that for a career with Hallmark.

Focus on hard facts, not your perspective. Boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts, joint finances, photos of you together.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

For this visa process is better to have "too much" evidence, I was scared because I thought that we will not have a lot of evidence because my husband and I do not like to take a lot pf pictures but when I looked on my old files on my phone I found more than 100 pictures of our 2 years relationship. Then I went to my email and I typed his name I found a lot of tickets for things that we made together and I got online like bus tickets, amazon gift that I delivered to his address, hotel receipts, Six flags tickets, etc. We also asked to closer friends and family to write letters to prove that our relationship was real and they knew me and they were part of our wedding ceremony, also if you speak by Skype it will be good idea to send some screenshots.  I made a full folder with all the things that we saved and we sent everything, our lawyer recommend us to open a joint account and have a life insurance together, however as I can not go to the Stated because my previous visa it will be impossible to my husband to open those without me being there. But if you can get those documents is a good idea too.

Good luck! :)
