Next step will be for NVC to schedule an interview depending on availability at the Embassy/Consulate. Personally I got my interview date with the status still as "At NVC" through an email, but mine is EB so not sure if its different for the CR1s

Dear all,

i just got an email from Nvc that our case is approved documentarily. Online I checked it still shows the case is currently at NVC. Does anyone know what the next step is? Does it have to show “en route” before we get an interview date? And do we get it via email again?

many thanks!!

Hi

Congratulations on your approval,Your case remains at NVC till they(NVC) schedule your Interview date which will be emailed to you, then once your interview date is set,NVC sends your case almost immediately, usually within 24hrs down to your country of charge ability to the appropriate Embassy/consulate. Not until then your case status will keep showing "AT NVC".
