Hi everyone,

 

Apologies if this has already been answered but I can't find a straight answer anywhere.

I entered the US a couple of days ago on a K1 visa and did not receive an I-94 upon arrival. The man at security just stamped my passport and wrote my Alien Number on the visa page. I have read on the government website that "An I-94 form is needed by all persons except U.S. Citizens, returning resident aliens, aliens with immigrant visas, and most Canadian citizens visiting or in transit. Air and Sea travelers will be issued I-94s during the admission process at the port of entry." Am I classed as an alien with an immigrant visa? I'm so confused. I can see that you can apply for the I-94 online but that you have to go back to POE to get it signed?? Is this correct? If anybody could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.

Wait a few days for what?  I typed my info in on the I-94 website and it appears to find my record. Is this all I need to print, the page that says my admission date, expiry etc?

yes that's all you need, print it.

AOS/EAD/AP ->: 11/29/18 - NOA1: 12/04/18

Biometric NOA:  12/14/18  Biometric Appt: 12/26/18

Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview: 1/16/19

EAD/AP approval: 3/18/19

AOS Interview Appt: 6/4/19

AOS Interview: 7/10/19

AOS Approved: 7/23/19

GREEN CARD IN HAND: 7/26/19
