Met a couple who are about a month behind us in the process. My wife and I were married May 4th and had filed our AOS paperwork. Started talking to this couple who is about a month behind us and he asked if my wife had done the physical yet? I said what physical? He said he had contacted the USCIS and his lawyer and both said that she would need a physical as part of the AOS process. I said I thought that was incorrect because they just had a physical as part of the interview requirement for the K-1 visa. We submitted my wifes Vaccination records as part of the AOS paperwork.

So the question is, if you are a K-1 and you had the physical as part of the Embassy Interview requirement did you need to also have a physical as part of the AOS process???

You are correct. Andre had his physical as part of the K-1 visa interview prep. When we filed for AOS, he did not need another one.

Fiancé(e)s.

If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.

I took form I-485 to the doctor and pointed this out so that he would stop insisting on a full medical and just do the supplement.

If its been over a year since the K-1 medical, then yes another is needed, if not then no!

The other advice in this thraed is good.

Supposibly you only need the vaccination supplement, but many members here have received RFEs for full medicals!!
