My fiancé and I applied for a K1 visa and his sister had already filed for a visa as well.  The family visa finally made it to the consulate and he received his first package.  Our K1 is on the way to the embassy but no packaged received yet.  His sister just had a baby and has been out of work for a while and is afraid the affidavit of support will be messy because of this.  Will that be an issue if she can show she has had income earlier in the year and last year.  Or should we wait for the fiancé visa since I have a stable income history?

You could be the Joint Sponsor.

Should not and no he does not have to live with his Sister.
