My case is undergoing a consular return, after the 221(g) denial, so it is being sent back to the States from the US Embassy in Ghana. After my case gets back to the US, what kind of contact should I expect to get? An email or a letter? How will I be asked to submit extra evidence? Thanks...

A letter once it gets back to USCIS.  this can take anywhere from 2 to 6 plus months.  Spending more time together, co mingling of finances and adding proofs of a Bona Fide marriage are good things to do.

A letter...in about 6 months.  Once you get the letter, you will know to address the denial issues.....Until then, there isn't much you can do...good luck.

You will get a letter of intent to revoke (of the I-130 petition) and it will list the reasons, and give you 30 days to respond. It is essential that you respond within 30 days and address every single point that letter says.

How will they ask you to submit new evidence once that happens? Online?

You will receive a letter from USCIS. You respond to that letter and send in evidence. As I said, you have to address everything point by point.

I understand, but ‘how’ do they usually ask you to send in the evidence? By mail? Email? Through their website? Thanks...

Hello. Will they ask you to send them the evidence by mail? Thanks...

Oh my man, you're testing my patience.

The answer is YES. They will send you a piece of mail, also called a letter, through the post office, that is going to be delivered to you, the petitioner. In that letter, they will list the reasons why they think this petition should be revoked. You, then have around 30 days (or whatever date they specifies in that letter) to respond to the letter, providing your evidence that will counter their reasons to revoke, point by point. Yes, you need to send your response and evidence also by post office mail, back to USCIS. If your response satisfies USCIS, they will send the petition back to the Consulate/Embassy for another interview. If not, your petition will be revoked.

Wasn’t trying to test your patient, but I get it now. I knew that I will receive a letter, but didn’t know if I would have to respond by sending them back a letter. Now I know. Thanks.
