I-134 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT (merged topics)

I have a question about the I-134 Affidavit of Support.

1. My Petitioner has filled the I-134 AFFIDAVIDT OF SUPPORT however she  got stucked on question 38 of I intend or do not intend to make a specific contributions to support of the Persons names in Part 2

2. If she tick - I " intend"  the question is -  indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions you intend to make in Part 7 of Additional information. She own a three bedroom house (Kondo)

 

Please guys i need suggestion and clarity. I have attached the I-134 APPLICATION FORM

Your fiancé sponsor would only check that box if there was going to be a specific agreement between the two of you with respect to monetary or material support.  In the case of a K1, this is generally not required as the plan is to form a marital union.  I believe this would be applicable for J type visas when the I134 is required.

I didn't check either box .. left it all blank for that.

 

I-134 is not designed with the K-1 in mind

It really doesn't matter what you answer for that question; it's not applicable to K-1s.

Can a Petitioner be a sponsor for I-134 affidavit of support and at the same time Sponsor I-186 affidavit of support someone else for Green Card?

Can a Petitioner sponsor a K1  for I-134 Affidavit of support and also sponsor someone else for Affidavit of support  on I-864?

Yes, as long as the sponsor makes enough income, they can sponsor many people at the same time.

@Penguin_ie Thank you for quick response. So when filling the form I-134 AFFIDAVIT on question 22a part 3 one has to indicate the name of the Person sponsored for I-864 in the application form right?

I'm not familiar with the affidavits of support connected to anything other than the K-1 or AOS from K-1 process, but as long as the sponsor has sufficient income to meet the requirements for the new larger number of dependents, it should be fine.

@DaveAndAnastasia  Thank you for your reply. Would it be necesary when filling the form I-134 Affidavit of Support  Part 3 question 22a to indicate a name that has been  sponsored on I-864 ?
