hey everyone!! im here......not doin much today, just laundry and dishes......and i swept the kitchen floor. i am gonna start getting my notebook of recipes going to waste some time. im really bored and i neeeeeeed to smoke, im goin nuts, its been weeks and im used to smoking everyday with Geo. i still want to smack him everytime he tells me he is when i call him. lol. yea so im a littttttle tinnnnnneyyyybit addicted, but i cant help it. ahhh well......life goes on.

goodluck to everyone with upcoming interviews...and to those waiting to get the passports back.

guess my paperwork is still being looked at in Saudi...no word on it so far...soo most likely we wont hear anything until Sat or Sunday at the earliest cause no one works much on Thur and Friday............i have to admit over and over im sick of waiting, ive become numb actually. this is our longest seperation to date and with our anni coming up and there is no way we will be together, i just am losing feeling in my body................i know i sit here and whine when you all, or most of you have endured way harder seperations, so i shouldnt be all down like this............sorry..............hugs to all no one should have to endure any type of seperation from their loved ones. its not fair

well think of it this way...at least you know there's an end in sight right? i mean is there a possibility that saudi would not let you in?

Well I just saw Jean's thread. How sad for her. He must have done something bad to not be able to see eachother for 3 years. I hope she comes to her senses... although seeing as the first thing she said is "any advice to leave Mohammed will not be taken", it doesn't look good for her. I think it's so sad that she still wants to be with him. She needs to learn that she doesn't NEED a man in her life to be complete, especially since she has children.

Oh well.

Happy Thursday

i just need to clarify since that topic was closed that i am NOT leaving my child FULL TIME once i get my visa. i am traveling to Saudi Arabia, i cant even TRAVEL there until i get my visa. i am fortunate enuf that my husband can afford to let me come back and forth often. I am living in both places, and my child is WELL taken care of, and understands EVERYTHING going on. So NO im not causing undue TRAUMA to my child, NOR did i ABORT him later in life ;)

you wont chase me away. i will come back just because usually i find this place helpful and a place to escape, but i will be more choosey about my words.

Thanks to all of you that know me better and know that im not a dead beat mom. ;)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Jess- I'm sorry but no matter how you try to put it I think a lot of people don't think it's that great to leave your small child while you are with your husband in another country. I feel bad for your son. Of course you're not going to think there's anything wrong with it because you have convinced yourself that he is ok while you're gone. You're making excuses for choosing a man over your child- or that's what it seems like. Clearly you miss George but is it worth it for you to leave your son without his mother for months at a time in order to be with a man?

I seriously think that some people need to examine how dependant they are on men. Sometimes family/children are more important.

sarah, that thread was locked. there is no point to giving that subject mouth to mouth in this thread unless you're trying to get it locked too.
