that embassy has many on hold for AP for either additional documents or other eveidence and for the new security checks

Most Pakistani males end up in lengthy AP even after the documents are all submitted.

I don't want to sound negative, but it seems that all the RFEs and refusals are coming from cases submitted by lawyers. Is it really that hard to fill up 20 pages of forms with instructions and VisaJourney help? If there are no criminal charges on ones record, why would anyone go for a lawyer?

right but had no idea what to do. now i more concerned about the time frame because it has been a month with no update. nothing.

approximately how long it takes to get an update. my interview was on august 30. i submit my docs on sep 12. do they update us by sending email? or just update date on ceac case status.
