I posted a few weeks ago about our plan to move to Florida because of my husband's difficulty in finding a decent job here in Texas, well this week we both found out that we got jobs there. I'm SOOOO thrilled!!! I took a promotion as a manager in Ft Lauderdale, and my husband got a job in I.T. help for a company that works with restaurants and their special software. His bilingual skills DEFINITELY were the reason for the job that he got, and mine helped in my promotion as well. I have to report to work on the 25th of July, and my husband will be July 1. I know there were some naysayers that thought he just wasn't putting out an effort here, but obviously, that wasn't true. His skills are definitely more appreciated right now in other places. Now gotta sell the house, and get on out. Thank God that my company will pack, move, pay for it all, store our stuff until we decide on a permanent place and pay 6 weeks living expenses. I'm lucky enough to live in a high demand area here, and I think I even have a buyer for the house. We somehow KNEW this would all come together. Gotta start working on the Beach Bod!!

26 SEP 2006.....INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!

26 SEP 2006.....APPROVED WITH FLYING COLORS!

05 OCT 2006....Welcome letter recieved

11 OCT 2006....THE CARD ARRIVES!!!!!!!!!!

15 SEP 2008.....Sent for removal of conditions

24 SEP 2008.....NOA for removal of conditions

10 MAR 2009....Transferred from VSC to CSC

22 MAY 2009.....REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS APPROVED!!!!!! :) Citizenship here we come!

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
