Hello!

I am petitioning for both of my parents and the last letter I received was the NOA2 which states they had sent it to the NVC. The date of the NOA2 is 8/23/19. Since then I have not heard anything from NVC not even if they have received the application. Does anyone know if it usually takes this long? I've seen others timelines and they usually have information by like 2 or 3 weeks after the NOA2 date.

There is no “usual” unfortunately, but it is worth calling often now to ask ,..  call early and often

Hello,

NVC don’t send email or anything to tell you if they received your case . Best way is to call them .

to have the information.

then if they say that they received it , from the day they received it takes ( actually ) about 1 moth to receive a case number ( by email )
