And good point, raise the next generation to show that LIE is okay, but somehow LIE under OATH is actually bad and should be punished. Hurm..

"See kids, you cannot take someone's words literally, well, unless that person is under OATH as because if it is taken literally, then it means he is LYING, then  he could be convicted of PERJURY. So take it metaphorically, unless it is under oath, as that means he must tell the TRUTH, no hyperbole, no name calling no deflection, no strawman, because, well, hurm, not sure why someone needs to tell the TRUTH i think, because as an ardent supporter, LIES and LYING are fine with me. I actually think TRUTH doesn't matter,  because because because the DEMS! "

I can also make unproven statement too (like the one made on this thread but had no evidence to back it up).

"All of them STEALS, all of them are CORRUPTED."

Still, because i believe the above statements are true, i would support, and vote for the one that got caught STEALING the most, got caught stealing multiple times and is the most corrupted.

Very good choice i have made there. Quite simple decision to make right?

In elections, people must sometimes revert to the "Lesser of two evils" philosophy.  No candidate or POTUS is perfect.........but some are considerably better than others.........

Maybe supporters should ask "Why am i supporting this liar? Why do i tolerate all the lies he made?" instead of "Hey It's the DEMS, they started it!! They did it first!"

Or could this be the checklist of selecting a leader (as it also reflects one's values)?

1. one who lies a lot, so select the one with the most lies (and make up more lies to justify the previous ones)

2. one with no integrity

3. likes to bully others

4. childish
5. one who can grab a woman by .. hurm............

repeating the same points again. So what values would some want to pass to the next generation?

Thanks. Only took 4 pages, but finally someone gave a straight answer.

It is funny and odd at the same time, in this forum, you can see people advising others "Be HONEST, tell the TRUTH" and there are people complaining the do not like cheaters etc,......

and yet somehow HONESTY and TRUTH actually carry no meaning and values to them. I guess only when it suits and benefits them, would they resort to being HONEST and telling the TRUTH.

Else, feel free to LIE, especially if you can get away with it and there will definitely be someone to back up those LIEs.

Well I think what you are trying to say, maybe a bit too strongly, is that no one really cares about the honesty and integrity of politicians anymore. In a sense it's become expected and tolerated and people just move past it and focus on other things and other issues. Partisanship is also a bigger factor now than ever. People just want their guy to win at all costs. I don't think that's a good thing, especially in a two party system, but I am OK with people being straight forward about their motivations.

I'll be honest too. I didn't like Trump. I didn't like Clinton. I didn't vote for either. I couldn't. I understood one of them would win because that's the system we have, however in my opinion, neither party deserves it. If people actually had more than the illusion of choice, they would have all been out on their rear ends a long time ago.

we need a fact checker to check the fact checkers.

I read CNN web site sometimes.  The headline will be . Trumps big lies during his latest speech

Then almost without fail, 9 out of 10 fact checks start like this..

1. While factually correct we need to add context  OMG ROFL
