It seems to depend on who’s looking at your case. I know a few other VJ members who sent the same multilingual BC as me and didn’t have this issue. So I hope a translation of my Austrian one will do but I just sent it in so I don’t know yet! 🙈

I apologize, I did not read about it earlier. Ours was about not having a name on his BC so we will need to it updated. Best of luck!

Hello everyone! I just found this thread. Also an October filer here, from F1. I did my biometrics on Dec 9th and my status shows "fingerprints were taken" blablabla. My expectation is to get an update in January. Am I right?

FROM F1 TO AOS

October 17, 2019 AOS receipt date 

December 09, 2019: Biometric appointment

January 15, 2020 RFE received

January 30, 2020  RFE response sent

Feb 7: EAD approved and interview scheduled

March 18, 2020 Interview cancelled

April 14th 2020: RFE received

April 29, 2020 Approved without interview

May 1, 2020 Card in hand

 

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

February 1, 2022 package sent

March 28, 2022 Fingerprints reused

July 18, 2023 approval

July 20, 2023 Card in hand

 

N400 

January 30,2023: Online filing

February 4th, 2023: Biometric appointment

June 15th, 2023: Case actively being reviewed

July 11th, 2023: Interview scheduled.

August 30th, 2023: Interview!

August 31st, 2023: Oath ceremony scheduled.

Sept 19th, 2023: Officially a US citizen!

Biometrics  -  Dec 2019

Location - Dallas

 

Is anyone here from Dallas as well? 
Any idea about realistic wait time for aos interview in Dallas field office?

Possibly. If USCIS needs more info (RFE) they’ll reach out to you fairly quickly. At least it seems like RFE has been going out fairly quickly after fingerprints (my observation from VJ) AS OF NOW. Hopefully your next update will be that fingerprints were finished and linked to your case and then case is ready to be scheduled

I got RFE asking for I-131A as well. My case was moving faster than expected right before i got this RFE. I sent I-131A and my case is stuck right at Evidence Recieved status for almost 40 days now.

POE - 26th JAN 2014(DFW)

Applied for SSN on 14 th FEB and recieved on 27th FEB 2014

27th FEB ELIS status optimised

4th MARCH production of new card began

7th MARCH card produced and mailed through usps priority mail

I couldn’t believe how quickly mine changed. They received RFE on 12/23 and Interview is ready to be scheduled popped up on 1/3. I hope yours will progress soon!
