What?? Isn’t the bio letter supposed to come within a month? Mine came almost immediately and my appointment was like 3 weeks after noa1

"Supposed to" and "will" are completely different lol. Like another Poster said, USCIS is a bueracracy and all we can do is wait... On the plus side, GOT MY BIOMETRICS LETTER TODAY! Roughly 60 days wait (sent 12/13 arrived today 12/19).

Still in the waiting game but happy for this little gift before Christmas 🎁🎄

edit: update: did not put a request in because i was busy and forgot. Patience paid off. Good luck everyone.

I have been noticing the performance issues, yes.  But I don't think there are any issues with the data.

Good point, thank you!

Can anybody please tell when does the mail with the interview date actually arrives? Status says interview was scheduled since Tuesday, that field office is like 30 mins from us and no mail yet.

That it is a good question. I would give it 7 to 14 business days for the letter to arrive.

The notices are mailed from the National Benefits Center in Missouri, not from the field offices.

USPS shipping times vary, but it usually takes about a week from status change to notice in your mailbox.

Oh damn, our status just changed and we’ve received a RFE. No idea what they have requested yet but we’ll wait patiently to receive it in the mail. Does anyone know how much time they usually give you to send in your additional evidence? Thanks! 🙈

Sent forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 on October 8th

Received date for all them October 11th

NOA1- for all forms on October 17th

Finally received letter from I-765 EAD for biometics appointment on 12/13/2019, scheduled for 12/30/2019

I have heard nothing back from I-485, when you check website it says Fingerprint Fee Received. For the other two forms it says Case Received.

Any advise?

You are correct to be concerned...you will ultimately need biometrics done for both the I-765 AND the I-485 (as you already know). From what I have read, you won't be able to convince the field office to apply your biometrics to both forms. They will only take your biometrics for the form(s) listed on your appointment letter. Some random time after that, you will either receive a second appointment letter OR you will receive a letter stating that the USCIS has decided to apply your I-765 biometrics to your I-485 application. You can call and talk to a tier 1 or 2 officer, but it's unlikely that they will be able to straighten out your situation. I think you're back to waiting after your 12/30 appointment. But at least you know what to expect now.

Sorry if that was confusing. Good luck and keep us updated.

Our status changed on a Monday.  We got our interview appointment letter in the mailbox that following Saturday.  So, for us, it was 5 days.

Oh goodness, thank you for the heads up!

Only the i765 is listed on my biometrics letter too & I just assumed it would apply to both. I would've freaked if/when that didn't happen.

At least we get our social after this, and can work/live regular married life. The wait and feeling like a drag is not nice (even when your spouse doesn't mind)

But how Missouri can send out interview dates if it is the field office that you go for it and therefore they schedule it?

How to deal with USCIS if never got the notice or missed interview because of their fault? They want to interview me but I am not even notifyied of the date any other way than waiting around for their notice in mail. They ever send emails or texts with that? Regular mail is SO highly unreliable.

Sorry about your rfe. I received one on 12/10 and after 5 days we found the letter in the mailbox. The reason is that my birth certificate didn’t have my parents names on it. I hope it’s an easy fix. (they seem to send a lot of rfes lately )

Don't ask me why they do things that way, but it's pretty easy to do it. They keep most of their records on a centralized computer system, even if that doesn't have the greatest links to their case status notification systems.
