Is anyone else out there STILL waiting for their biometrics appointment letter? We have an I-485 NOA date of October 17, and haven't received ours yet. We seem to be in the minority of people that are still waiting on that step. I know of one other October filer that's in the same situation. But as of now, it seems like the vast majority of October filers have moved past the biometrics step.

We filed October 8th and are still waiting for biometrics as well. I sent a email to USCIS regarding our case and was told to wait 90 days before inquiring again.

Waiting on biometrics as well. P.D. 11/12. Initiated a service request and was also told to wait.

I went for my biometrics on 10th and the status show finger print is completed for form 1-485 and EAD but today now it changed to  finger print related to your form 1-485 is attached to your case. I checked for my EAD still remain your case is received nothing like finger print.

My I-485 and I-785 have had the same updates. My I-131 has not been updated at all. Perhaps that means the FBI / background checks have been completed and passed so the biometrics have attached to the file and all is ready for the next step.

My personally thought is that someone in the USCIS loves triggering an email to see how quick he can make people log in to to check 😂

I checked  1-785  and EAD 1-131 today both were updated on 13th, fingerprints been attached to both cases.

Yes! Got our NOA1 Oct 18. We've been waiting 60 days now.. just read that Nick27 was told to wait 90 more days. Still going to put in a request. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way for everyone. Those that got their biometrics step done quickly and smoothly should be grateful. The rest of us have no option other than to wait. The USCIS is a bureaucracy, and waiting is part of the game. If you read through the MAY 2019 AOS FILERS posts, you would see that the majority of them had to wait about 100 days to get their biometrics appointments.

Wow. I could have sworn I remember reading something Saying if you don’t receive your biometrics appointment within 30 days that you need to contact them but I think I might have been imagining it. This process makes me so sad for everyone who has to wait longer because there’s no rhyme or reason.
