Mine took exactly a month to change to "ready to schedule". From my own observations of other poeple's timelines, it usually takes 25-30 days for it to change to "ready to schedule" after the biometrics. And two days after that mine changed to " interview was scheduled". I got the interview notice in the mail 5 days later which was last monday.

Mine has currently been 45 days since biometrics with no update; so not always the case :(

How long since "ready to be scheduled for interview" until getting the date in mail?

At that point, your file will be shipped to the your field office. Your field office will schedule an appointment for an interview when a slot become available. Check the processing times for your field office or look for people on VJ who are also going through the same AOS process as yours in the same field office So far, I know Boston, MA and Oklahoma are sort of moving fast.

What is the need for the cases to be shipped to Missouri at all, if all Missouri does is "looking it up"? Why not to send cases right away to the field offices? No logic.

All cases go through NBC in MO, then get shipped. It is my understanding.

I know that they all go through MO. I'm trying to find common sense about it and think of why.

I’d suggest you do not try to find common sense because there is not one. To be honest, I am happy my husband is here with me and not abroad because the upcoming changes in immigration are looking ugly.

United States is the country that was created by immigrants and lived by immigrants for years. Every American family has immigrants, it's either parents, grandparents or great grandparents or other relatives. Immigrants formed this nation. Sad to see now it has become so hostile to its own "nature".

I just got an update that shows " Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken". Does anyone knows has the same update? What is this update even all about? Thanks!
