Hi. Just a question. My biometrics appointment is on the 25th but would it be possible to go there a few days early and walk in to do it? Has anyone done it before?

If you have a genuine reason to reschedule then they give you instructions on the letter. They give you appointments for a reason. I  would not try to circumvent the system by going in BEFORE your appointment. To answer your questions yes people have done it and have had no issues.

When you go for the bio-metrics appt, do they stamp the notice testifying  you indeed went to get fingerprinted? I wonder what sort of proof you can keep stating that indeed you went to that appt.

Yes they stamp the appointment letter with date and time.

Hi, I was just catching up on reading this thread. Quick question. I have the biometrics appointment scheduled for Nov 25. How long is the average wait for the AOS interview? Just curious.

You need to go the USCIS website and look at the current processing times for your field office based on your zip code.

I walked in at noon the day before my scheduled bio appointment since I had jury duty the day of my appointment. There was NO LINE and they didn't even ask me for proof, took me in on the spot. In and out in 5 minutes. This was at the Brooklyn USCIS facility.

is there any way EAD can be expedited?

Yes usually you have to have a good reason to get it example  job offer, but that does not mean you'll get it. Does not hurt to apply.
