hello, so tax season is practically around the corner... so when I file my taxes do I include my husband who is doing the AOS ? will he be a dependent, since he can not work and I am supporting him? i ask this because probably next year we get the green card interview they will request Tax return for 2019... well just read that spouse can not be claimed as dependent... we will have to file Married-joint

Yes you file jointly and claim two exemptions if it's just you and ur spouse.

Now time to obsessively check USCIS website for status update 😂

Had biometrics today at 12:00 pm CST and while I was catching up on reading info on this thread, I got a notification that the fingerprint completed. Now on to the real wait....

Good luck everyone!

Hi. Just a question. My biometrics appointment is on the 25th but would it be possible to go there a few days early and walk in to do it? Has anyone done it before?

The notice for biometrics has instructions on how to reschedule the appointment. Most fields offices do not longer take walks-ins. I'd suggest you check the USCIS website for your field office.

When you go for the bio-metrics appt, do they stamp the notice testifying  you indeed went to get fingerprinted? I wonder what sort of proof you can keep stating that indeed you went to that appt.
