There is not a way to estimate a time for USCIS. You just have to wait.

USCIS is a patiently waiting mind game.. there is no reason to worry within a couple of days that nothing has happened.. if you don’t see update in 30 days then probably that time you could ask around what people advice you.. good luck 🍀 😊

There is a bunch of stats and estimations based on the VJ members' timelines on this website which are pretty accurate generally. I can get a rough idea of the total process from those. But there was no estimation regarding the status change after biometrics and that is what I asked in case people would share their experience.

I had my fair share of dealing with USCIS as you might see from my timeline lol :D So saying "be patient" is just stating the obvious. Anyway, I don't want to keep the thread busy unnecessarily. Good luck to all of us ❤️

 Some filers even don't receive any updates until their interview is scheduled.

Usually  24 to 48 hours  mine updated in 24 hours.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

I filled in form G-1450 -Authorization for Credit Cards Transactions.  Put in my cc#, and mailed it with AOS forms.  Word of caution though.  My first credit card company rejected the charge as fraudulent.  I had to resubmit, used another credit card and called them to warn them about the charge and all was well.  Bit it cost me 2 weeks processing time.

Hey! Did USCIS mailed the whole package back to you when they rejected the payment? Or did they keep the package and waited for you to update them with a new credit card info?

01/29/20 EAD Card in hand.

03/04/20 Interview was complete but my case must be reviewed.

03/05/20 New Card is being Produced.

03/06/20 I-130 and I-485 "Case was approved"

03/10/20 10 years Green card in hand.
