OCTOBER 2019 AOS Filers

well okay. I just got rejection notice for I-765 saying that the form is missing last 2 pages. I don't know how could that have happened, because I'm 100% sure I put everything together. 

And it's saying that payment amount is incorrect or wasn't provided. And OMG WHYYYY. I had everything in there! 

This is so frustrating. 

 

Now they say to send I-765 again with missing pages and payment. And I got confused here. Should it be payment only for I-765? or the whole AOS package again? 

Because there is no information about the rest of the package

How did you find out it was rejected? Via email or physical mail?

If they say i765 was missing last 2 pages they maybe didn't have the part where you put c9 as eligible category and thats why they don't know if fee is correct or not? Since it is waived with c9 code.

No the pages that are missing are pages 6 and 7, the ones that are for interpreter's information.

It has the part with c9 information. And it's written on the top of rejection notice information

Hi All

 

Just an update:

 

I got a rejection notice for my I-131. I made a foolish mistake and sent an outdated version on the form. 

 

I had the updated version but printed the wrong one and sent it in (DUH).

 

Like @Nafisa Zaripova my rejection notice said something about the incorrect fee but they cashed my check for $1,225. 

 

I printed out the correct form and sent in the same documentation as I did previously. But I added a sentence in my cover letter stating I did not owe an addition fees because I paid the fess for the I-485. And I included the NOA1 for the I-485.

 

I sent my I-131 again today. I am hoping to get a receipt number for my I-131 form soon.

Oh I'm sorry that happened to you!  Can happen to anyone... At least you fixed the problem and hope you'll get your receipt number soon!

 

 

I called USCIS today to find out that the rest of my package got rejected, probably for the same reason. 

I mean I started thinking today that I could have done mistake by not putting last 2 pages of I-765, but how could have that happened to other forms? 

Now all I have is to wait for the rest of the package to arrive in mail.

Just can't believe something like this happened to me.

Hola to all! my husband and I REALLY!!! enjoyed our mini break away from all the dramatic paperwork. Back to reality, I noticed the form I-944 is on hold so we prepared all of our AOS paperwork yesterday and will submit everything on Thursday. Wish all the best to everyone.

my AOS was delivered to Chicago office at 10/18 and haven't receive any text/email confirmation yet. 

and today, i noticed that i put the incorrect eligibility category on I-765 (i accidentally put a6 while it supposed to be c9).

so anxious right now and trying to figure out how to fix it.

They'll probably reject it and send it back to you so you could fix it
