Any October filers still waiting for the interview to be scheduled?

My status is "ready to be scheduled" since January and it's really frustrating ...

My status retrograded FROM 'Ready to be scheduled' in January to "Fingerprints were received", all the while processing times have spiked and we're facing potential furloughs. It's going to be a bumpy and crappy ride.

Interested to hear if anyone else has had any different experiences

How to renew EAD and AP without lawyers help? And how much does it cost?If anybody knew, please send the steps to renew EAD and AP in detail, Mine is about to expire in March 2020.

EAD and AP Renewal are free. You send the same forms, with pretty much the same evidence and a copy of the NOA 1 from AOS.

You can file an EAD renewal or an EAD+AP renewal (two forms in one envelope) as early as 180 days before the combo card expires. Don't wait.

Below is the cover letter I used, I adapted some example I found online. It lists the documents I sent. Not all of the attachments I included are strictly necessary, I preferred to err on the safe side. It wasn't rejected, and currently no RFE was sent.

I am impatiently waiting for Santa Ana, Ca service center for our AOS interview I did a follow up call this morning and they said we are still in processing time our file date is 10/10/2019

The processing time changed for Santa Ana from 12mo-35mo  so we cannot inquire until after the 35 months they told us

There is a couple here in visa journey with similar time frames but they filed a week after us they had got their interview for the Santa Ana office already so I don’t know what to do 🤷🏽‍♀️  How did they get a interview before us?

Hello, everyone!

Our AOS Interview is scheduled for tomorrow, Oct 8th-- after months and months of painstaking wait, we were thrilled and were looking forward to do the interview.  My husband, unfortunately, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday because of a Crohn's episode and we will miss the interview tomorrow.  I had called in to reschedule and was given a confirmation number for the request, which will take 30 days to process.

Anyone here who can provide guidance/experience on rescheduled appointments?  I know this pushed us back so many weeks but would be good to have an idea.  It might also be a good time to file for renewal of EAD since it expires in January.  Sorry to be a downer but I really need support and I feel others just don't understand our frustration.

Thanks in advance to whoever will reply!

How long does it take to get the interview notice after it's been scheduled?

My status changed to "Interview was scheduled" two weeks ago but I still haven't gotten a notice in the mail, and when I called USCIS to ask about it the lady just repeated the same "We will mail you an interview notice. Follow the instructions. If you move update your address" that I can read online. I don't want to risk missing my interview.

Hello Everyone,

Finally we received interview date of Nov 2nd.

On the interview notice items to bring to the interview is asking for

A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted).

We have already submitted Form I-693 back in oct 2019 along with our initial application.

Question- Do we have to take a new one or the one submitted in oct 2019 is good ?

Any other suggestion would also be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I-693s are valid for 2 years from the date the civil surgeon signed it.
