April 8th!!! Just a day before USCIS will reopen again to the public! That’s why i don’t understand why would they cancel the appointment

Please focus your attention to the next possible outcome...... your interview could be waived. USCIS has started to do just that.  I'm not sure of the criteria, but I'm thinking it has to do with interviews that have been canceled  due to the Corona issue!

Take a look at my timeline the AOS comments section to understand what I mean. I submit to you ALL is not lost so get your chin up!!!!!

I'm curious what happens at the end of April if we don't have an update.  If we call, would they check into our specific case?

I was checking the Case Tracker app and looking at 500 cases at a time.  I went back 250,000 cases before ours (approx. September 2019 filing) and then looking 25-50,000 ahead each time and there are a lot of cases still pending approval:

Our case is in the highlighted block range.

Hello, could I please have a link to the app you are using to track your case?

Thank you,

I have a question if you don’t mind... was your interview scheduled and then cancelled due to the virus situation, and then your interview was waived???

Yes exactly, it was scheduled for April 17th got cancelled then returned back to ready for interview then BOOM the next status was New card Is being Produced. I did not get any messages saying that the interview was waived, but it is obvious at this point it was waived since we had no AOS interview.

Hi! Sorry to post this again- just didn’t get any response / feedback. I still haven’t heard from USCIS either. So here is my original two part question

I had my green card interview March 17. In the interview they informed me that they lost my medical exam results (smh) and he is going to approve me but can’t until he gets the results. A few hours after the interview, my status on the app changed to “interview completed, case must be reviewed”

So I went the next day (during this virus crisis) i got a new exam done... I picked up the results Thursday the 26 and mailed it priority with tracking same day.

here are my questions

1. what is the status change usually after interview complete? How long did it take to get your green card? Is their approval notice once they do approve it etc?

2. anyone who had to redo their medical how long did it take to process everything?

Was wondering if anyone is in the same boat or similar? I just got an approved work permit &travel authorization, an rfie was issued and responded to back in december 2019 for i485. I had a visa overstay and a deportation case which q was closed and that allowed me to file for AOS. I do have am approved I-130 (marriage to usc) back in 2016 and was called for an Interview then. My question is, will I be asked for an interview again or can it be waived? Since me & my spouse went for an i130 interview and have been married for almost 6 years.

My k2 applicant had his EAD approved on March 18th.  We have his combo card, but still no SSN. We elected for it on his I765, SAVE has no  information.  My wife has 2 SAVE cases for a SSN?

I also just called SSA and they informed me that they are not issuing SSN  currently due to the pandemic.

Anyone confirm this?  Their site states that they still are issuing for applications from DHS/USCIS.

Anyone who got their EAD approved around march 18th that also has SSN in hand and applie don I765?
