Hello, just a small update. Went for the interview at Montgomery AL at 2:30pm on March 5th. My husband (My petitioner) was called in first, and according to him all the interviewer wanted to do was to make sure that his answers matched our answers on our Adjustment of Status form and he gave the interviewer our updated Affidavit of Support (he quit his old job when I first came, and have found a new job since). We don't have any joint bank accounts or decrees whatever because of my SSN problem (look through my post history and you'll figure it out) so according to my husband, the interviewer asked to talk to my father-in-law as part of our relationship proof and he also handed him updated pictures of us. About 15-20 minutes later, I was called in to have my interview together with my husband. All he really did was reaffirm my answers on the paper vs in real life. Towards the end he said we were approved, and we saw him physically stamp our papers with the 'Approved' chop. Wasn't issued any approval letter either, just confirmation that the conditional green card would be issued in a couple of weeks. No updates on EAD, would be useless at this point. Cheers

Had interview today and was approved! Was left for review at the end of interview but was told would be approved. By time got back to the car online status changed to card is being produced.

Interview was super relaxed, was told they looked through case and everything looked good. Essentially just went through application and confirmed questions. Didn’t use a lawyer throughout the whole K-1 and AOS process and was pretty easy in the end.

NEVER received EAD, full timeline below, just under five months start to finish;

10/14 Filed

10/21 NOA issued

12/13 Bio complete

1/21 Interview ready to be scheduled

1/23 Interview Scheduled

3/10 Interview

3/10 Card is being produced

Hey quick question, so we have our interview date set for April 6th. We got the interview notice it says I have to submit the affidavit of support(unless we already submitted). Do I still have to provide this at the interview even though I submitted it when I applied for the i485.
thank you

Only if something has changed otherwise no. Like the letter says: unless already submitted. It's a one fits all letter 😊

Hi everyone, I got my interview schedule from the mail recently. I entered the US on a K-1 visa. Medical exam is mandatory so I had it last April 16, 2019. My green card interview is scheduled on the 8th of April, 2020. My question is, do I still have to submit the medical exam form I-693 even if my medical is valid for a year? Or is the DS-3025 enough?

No the K-1 medical is fine as long as you are up to date on all vaccinations.

It took exactly two weeks for me to receive my green card after the interview.  The day of the interview, the status changed twice - to card is being produced, and then to case is approved. The status changed again after ten days to card is being produced, and I then received the card four days later.

Thought I would share for those who haven't heard much of anything so far: originally filed 2019/10/09. No EAD card yet, and my F1-visa EAD card expired in January, so since then forcibly unemployed.

Current status:

2020/03/11 I-485 interview ready to be scheduled

2020/03/06 I-131 fingerprints applied to case (don't know why they weren't applied earlier)

2019/11/14 I-765 fingerprints applied to case

Had an RFEI in December, had sent the wrong tax documents, but that's been fixed. Here's hoping for progress...

USCIS update on their site regarding COVID-19.  I feel this may be a good threat for it.. as most are now waiting on interviews.
