How come you aren’t able to drive?

We went to the dmv and they couldn’t Do anything because they said his visa was expired. Even though I had our marriage certificate. It’s just like this in NJ. They said with an I 551 or whatever. Which is the work or travel thing. Our case just updated approved for those. Yes

This timeline is mine and My case status of EAD has changed to New Card Is Being Produced. I actually hoped only EAD not GC so I’m now so excited for it. For Two years without working is terrible.

Hi all

We have our interview next Wednesday just wanted to double check what docs we should bring??? Thanks!

The list is actually included in the letter that USCIS sent you for your appointment. Just follow that plus everything you have to prove co-mingling of finances. We only had a joint bank account statement and insurance presented but it was ok.

Sounds like you have a good plan. It might be helpful to include a housing document (rent, mortgage, etc.) that has both of your names on it. You also have plenty of time to get her name changed on the checking account. Overall, it looks like you're doing everything great.

He did his medical around feb of last year since it’s been about a year does he need to do a new one? copies of W2 as well even if it was already submitted?

No need for a new medical exam.

They do ask you to bring originals and copies of everything you submitted with your AOS application package. Doing that is probably overkill, but is better than the alternative of not having a specific document they ask you for at the interview.
