Coming on the heels of some good news and bad news...More good news! EAD card is in the mail, sent the tracking # too. I'll do a small update post once I have my Social Security Card in hand (or have applied for it). Stay encouraged if you're still waiting for your EAD card. April 15th is still a ways away.

What’s April 15th besides being a tax return deadline? :)

It's just that. Pretty sure you can still request an extension-- file a state extension too!--You can't submit state taxes before federal, well..not in GA at least. Check your state laws if you are planning to file jointly (MFJ) but later. And get the EITC too, if you can.

Hey Guys! 

Some partial good news I suppose. 

Today I was messing around with the tracking apps and remember I had to update my address and when I did, turns out my case switched to: "Ready to schedule interview" on January 31st! 

I hope and pray my EAD gets approved soon ❤️

🐇 I-129F NOA1: 03/22/2019 (Received The 18th)

🐇 I-129F NOA2: 06/15/2019 (85 days)

🐇Case transferred to NVC & Case# assigned: 07/10/2019 (25 days) 

🐇 NVC left: 07/23/2019 

🐇 Consulate Received: 07/26/2019 (CEAC switched to ready on the 30th) 

🐇 Interview date: 08/05/2019 (Approved :D:wub:!!!)

I’m adjusting from F-1. I have had my SSN for 8 years, so we filed jointly already :)

Hi everyone, i would appreciate some insight. We recieved Rfie for the affidavit of support  that income does not meet the 125% threshold, even though my husband makes way past that, our lawyer said they must have missed the papers or it got lost, so he did his thing and responded, come to think of it he never asked us for recent pay stubs or recent employment letter? We did send the updated ones to him, but he had already responded to the RFIE. Now what are we supposed to do here?

Any help would be appreciated.


AOS though marriage to a USC filed by attorney (i130 approved in 2015)

October 8  2019 : Case Was Received
October 31, 2019 : Case Was Updated To Show All Fingerprints Were Taken And Case Is In Process

November 22, 2019 : RFIE Was Mailed
December 10th, 2019 : RFIE response was recieved.

what is this supposed to mean?????? we never got an interview date.... is this why EAD card has not been approved yet? we are confused.... finger prints were taken 11/20/2019... i have seen case were people just got their biometric appointment and a week after EAD approved....

Have you tried calling? 
mid no changes for us this week I’m calling by next week for an update.. I’ve read before it’s system glitch at times and it’ll be scheduled later on.. no update on ur EAD?

I’m from Orange County. Biometrics done last Nov 20th, status was changed to “Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken”. No movement until now.

My grandmother died 2 weeks ago, I called the USCIS to have my case expedited so I can go home. They promised to call me back but they never did. Seems like the Santa Ana Office is super slow and inefficient.😢
