This may have been asked before, but how long does it usually take from "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" and "Interview scheduled"?

I got an update yesterday, that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

No update on EAD tho

It actually really depends on your local USCIS office. Mine was "ready..." on Dec 20th and changed to "...was scheduled" on Jan 6th, Ohio office. So it could go from a week to longer.

Mine was the very next day. December 30th - case is ready, December 31st - interview scheduled, but not many cases come to my FO.

Update:

I-131 "Case was Approved" (today Jan 24)

So it is indeed possible to receive the EAD/AP card ahead of the I-485 approval, right?

Good luck to all of us!!!

So it turns out it is possible!  I just received the EAD/AP Combo Card today, along with the Social Security Card... no word on the scheduling of the interview, though-- Charlotte, NC office.  Anyone here from the Queen City too? Just so glad there are a bunch of stuff I can now accomplish with having those documents!  God bless us all!

Does anyone has experiencing with e-requesting notices at the USCIS website? I am waiting for the appt letter for the interview and not sure why it is taking long - like close to a week.

My appointment letter took a week before I got it. Give it some time, I'm sure it's already on its way, and usually interviews are set a month later anyway.

Thank you so much! I got an update last Friday and still do not have it yet, so I am kinda of wondering!

Happy to say my wife received her combo card in the mail today! Definitely faster than we expected (our I-485 NOA date is Oct 8, 2019).

It's been a crazy journey for us. I believe we were the last October filers to get our biometrics done. She actually did her I-485 biometrics this week.

Now, back to waiting for the interview. Good luck to everyone. Go Niners!

Anyone else in this group from Arizona? If there is, have you gotten past the "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" stage?

Hi! I'm from Arizona and my status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on 16th of Jan! I had my biometrics on Dec 9

What about you???
