Ok, Luis says our age difference is ridiculous, and that he's sure it won't be taken in consideration, but I was wondering anyway.

Any of you guys have age differences? I mean, the woman beng older?

I'm only 3 years older than Luis (though he's more mature  ), and anyway, I was wondering if they could think it's strange for me to be older or not. I think it'd be stupid to question such a small age difference, but you never know what can make them wave the red flag.

I am 32 years older than Claudeth and we had absolutely no problems. I don't think 3 years will matter. Good luck :D

Good thing you weren't 4 years apart ;)

I searched out and found a spouse born on the same day but still 12 hours apart. No problems. So far

(seriously.. 3 years is nothing. My wife and I are 9 years apart)

Why would 3 years difference be an issue?

My fiance is 6 years older than me, and I'm not the least bit concerned.

The issue is when the wife is older--CO's HAVE been known to ask RFE's (or even push to AR) on this.

When husband is older, it will sail through scrutiny (yes, it is a double-standard--but not much you can do when such a standard is applied by someone with "authority")

I hate to agree with you but, I do. I seen so many couples with issues when the lady is much older. :(

lately, I have seen them < embassy> return the petitions, causing a hell of alot of grife on valid

relationships.

OMG 3 years is nothing - I am 6 years older than my fiance Dave and not only that he looks like a 16 year old next to me LOL (Im gonna turn 38 in may and he turned 32 in march - Oh boy 38!! Im getting old). He has such a youthful look - gets it from him mum i guess, plus the fact he is happy go lucky type of guy and acts a fool most times lol. Me being the older woman at first I was a bit worried about it - I have always dated guys older than me, but somehow Dave seems like the right guy fror me, well i can defiately say he makes me feel younger lol :) As to the immigration stuff I dont know if it will effect us or not.

So up to 4 or 5 years it wasn´t mentioned much? Good. I know 3 years is nothing, we dont´feel it, but when it comes to the immigration, they might wonder. Older guys is normal, older women, not so much.
