Files early October and was never invited to do biometrics. Finally received a letter today to inform me that they will be reusing my previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. Super bummed that it took them 9 months just to let me know about something that should’ve happened 7 months ago... that makes me think I will have to wait a good amount of time for them to actually look at my case now if they just now checked for biometrics 😭

I filled 11 months ago and no news about biometrics still) so you are lucky from my point of view) What is your service center please?

WAC (California). They also wrote in that letter that the biometrics fee won’t be refunded even if they didn’t take new biometrics. I didn’t expect them anyways to refund it but I still think it doesn’t make sense that we had to pay for it.

Hi Everyone,

So my status changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" by mid-may (after a short "we updated your name").

Checking on my status today, it still says the same (ready to be...) but the date has changed. It now says "As of July 1st, we are ready..."  Does anyone have experience with this kind of update? Does this mean anything in particular? Trying not to get my hopes up too high...

Thanks!

Same status since May 21st 2020. Filed ROC in the beginning of October, fingerprints taken on November 19 (I think) and ever since May I have been waiting. Turned out a lot of people from this center are waiting for loooong time with same status we have.

Hey everyone,

MSC case here, and according to VJ Sunday's estimate, it has been two weeks that I am overdue. is anyone else getting the same result? Just wondering what kind of data is used to draw such conclusion.
