Update: received Biometrics Appointment letter November 8 and Biometrics completed November 18. One month and one day after my application was delivered. Not bad of a wait.

Based on the spreadsheet for MSC Service Center, 4-6 months total processing time.

Wife and K2 stepsons just had Biometrics done yesterday, roughly 5 weeks after receiving NOA for ROC. Service center is Vermont. At least 1 step closer in the process. Appt was at Hackensack, NJ ASC, if anyone is local. All 3 done within 1 hr.

Also checked online case status and saw "Fingerprint Review Completed"...same day as Biometrics was done. I guess it varies widely on how often they update or probably the thoroughness of the officer. In any event, nice to see the status change

Hello Everyone,

 

I filed my I-751 on 10/12/2019

Case was received 10/14/2019

Text notification for G-1145  10/18/2019

I-797 Received  10/22/2019

 

I haven't heard from USCIS then. Is that normal? I am expecting the biometrics appointment but it seems like that are just dragging. I submitted sufficient evidence to prove our bona fide marriage (e.g. joint tax return, joint back accounts, joint mortgage, we also have a son, etc). Also, we were interviewed before. I wonder how long will this process take in general for cases like mine? My case was submitted to YSC.

No, I do not expect it to be any time soon.  According to other applicants who are also LIN, it estimated that biometric letters are sent after about 4 months from the filing date.  I expect to hear something in March 2020.

12/09/2017 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (for i-485 and i-765) for 12/19/2017 at 10AM

12/19/2017 Finger prints + picture taken at the USCIS Support Center.

01/08/2018 Received Interview Letter (possibly few days earlier as I was out of town)

02/02/2018 Interview date!

02/08/2018 Received Approval texts and messages (I-485 Approved - I-130 Approved the day before)

02/08/2018 Card Was Mailed To Me. Total of 80 days from PD.

02/27/2018 card returned undelivered to USCIS + Placed Service request to resend the card

05/03/2018 Card was Delivered to me.  Took 63 days wait period.

05/13/2020 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken (never went for biometrics due to covid-19)

10/30/2020 Online status changed to Card Is Being Produced on 10/29/2020

10/30/2020 Online Status changed to Case Was Approved

11/03/2020 Card Was Mailed To Me

11/03/2020 Card Was Picked Up By the United States Postal Service

mine is YSC. i didn't receiver biometrics appt yet. and i actually filed i-90 before i-751 because i lost my green card. i filed i-751 i got the letter telling me i got the 18 months extension but still my i-90 went thru and my new conditional card has been produced and they shipped it to me. i thought i-751 would cancel i-90. my i-751 is still saying case is received.

Strange, I never received status that says, “Fingerprint Review Was Completed”. Is there a way to check past status in Case Tracker?
