I am a June filer and was approved last week.

Are you referring to K-3? If so, it's pretty much obsolete and won't speed up anything at all. K-3 imo is a waste of time at this point.

I'm not sure if it helped but my I-130 was approved one month after filing the K3 application.

@Sea Leslie  A lady in this forum gave me the info below.... she told me filing the K3 prompts them to pull my I-130 petition. ( I've been waiting 8 months) 

 

 

Is your petition at Nebraska? I strongly suggest you now file the I-129F those who have done this have gotten their I-130 apprved within 30 days.

 

This is what they call the K3. But what they will do once you file the I-129F is pull your I-130 and take action.

Yes, everyone's process is different, however no one is going to get pulled out of line for no reason. USCIS processes petitions in the order they are received, they do not ever just randomly grab into a pile to pull out a 2 month old petition. The only way anyone's petitions so far have been processed before processing time has been, like already stated, a reasonable expedite, an I129f, or in one member's case, continually contacting and responding to USCIS and government employees on emails and social media. Everyone's process is different, but no one gets sent to the front of the line for zero reason, especially at Nebraska (OP's service center) where processing times are over a year long. It is a blind hope that only leads to disappointment once reality sets in. My bet is they think they can get their visa in hand in just a few months, which is totally unrealistic in every aspect, regardless of how different people's processes are. They are not going to get approved months and months early at Nebraska with 0 action, no matter who they are or what they believe. They got unlucky and got Nebraska. They are going to have to wait around a year or more for approval depending on if Nebraska keeps the trend of increasing processing time. They likely won't have their visa for at least a year and a half or longer. They will not get their visa after just a few months after filing nor will their petition be approved after just a few months by simply believing that it will. Just how it is. The sooner that's realized, the better.

After going through this process, the I-130 at USCIS and NVC stage is just the warm up. The final and critical test is the final interview at Embassy.
