Hi,

My wife lives in an apartment she got under Housing Lottery (rent controlled) and she added me as an occupant (I came here on a K1 visa in April 2019). We filed for AOS in June after getting married, could this be considered as a Public Charge and lead to a denial of our AOS application? Should we move? We don't use any benefits or plan to do so and have enough funds, my wife also has a good paying job and I will also get one once I get my EAD/GC.

Please let me know.

Thank you!
