Throw away the paper one, begin filling in the online one. You can fill it out without submitting it. They keep them for 3 months I think. You can correct, review, delete, amend as much as you want to before submitting.

Maybe it has changed, on mine It said the system will keep it for 30 days, then if it has not been submitted or paid for, it will delete automatically.

Hello,

I applied on October 21st online, on the 3 year marriage rule. Although reading this I probably could have done the 5 year (PR since 2008).

The online application was a breeze compared to the paperwork I remember from 10 years ago!

Biometrics scheduled for 11/12. I was surprised to see that it’s a different local office than last time (different state but closer in miles).

Estimate completion is May 2020.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

I-751

04.19.10: Package sent to Vermont

04.21.10: Delivered in Vermont

04.22.10: NOA date

04.23.10: Check cashed

05.17.10: Received biometrics appointment letter

06.07.10: Biometrics Appointment

06.26.10: Touched

07.07.10: Card Production Ordered!

07.17.10: Card in the mail :) Done until citizenship

Hi guys I'm planning to file N400 by the end of October. I've lived in the US for more than 5 years and also have been married to the same US citizen for more than 5 years. I am confused which category I should apply based on. Thanks!

If you are filing online, it will ask you a series of questions custom to you. The minimum eligibility is 2 years and 9 months from the time you get your first green card, so depending on when you received your first GC, that determines which rule your eligibility falls under.

I applied online this weekend and seeing below message. Does anybody know about this issue ?

Application for Naturalization  N-400

Your application has not been submitted. Although we have received your payment, you or your representative needs to call USCIS at 1 (800) 375-5283 in order to finish submitting your application.

There may be something incomplete on the online form you submitted. Your representative or you may need to sign your names to make it complete. I'm not so sure. You give them a call. At least they haven't flat out deny the application. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

USCIS had some issue on weekend. I checked now and it's showing status SUBMITTED and receipts number.
