Hi - Hope your interview went smooth. Can you please share your experience. We have ours next week at the same SFV office.Appreciate it.

sorry for late reply. i passed it hardly took only 15 mins. they do the oath ceremoney at same day .

nothing to worry about it was smooth and super quick  . i got free at 12:45 and took the oat at 1.00.

Got my certificate right after that. let me know if you have any question .

plus i took all the documents with me but they did't ask for any.

I had my oath ceremony on Tuesday, outside the USCIS office in downtown San Diego, CA. I turned in expired EADs and my  green card and took my oath right by the entrance.

My interview took place on 11/4. They were going to make me take the oath and print my naturalization certificate right after my interview but unfortunately their system was down. myUSCIS was updated a bunch of time on 11/4, with the last status update saying that my oath ceremony was scheduled and to check the Documents tab after a few days for a letter. However, the only letter that did eventually show up, both online and via regular mail, was one saying that an 11/4 oath ceremony was de-scheduled. 10 days later, the status was updated again and again said that an oath ceremony was scheduled. This time the oath ceremony letter did show up the following day. I found all these updates pretty confusing so I wanted to share my experience.

My immigration journey ends here. I am now a proud US citizen!!

Best of luck to all of you and thank you for all the information you shared on this forum.

Hi - Just wanted to give any update on my case. I have passed the interview , took Oath the same day and became a U.S Citizen  today. Thanks for all the support in this forum.

The interview was around 20mins. I wasn't asked any out of the box questions.Every thing was focused on the application.

GUYS!!! I'm extremely happy that I finally got my interview scheduled. My interview will be on January 28th and even though I filed in Brooklyn, my interview will be in Federal Plaza in Manhattan.  Anyone in the forum had gone to this office? how is the interview over there? I'm curious
thank you

Your time will come, i also read people getting their interview scheduled but in other counties like Queens or in Long island moving faster and getting their interviews in september and october and no news for me until yesterday 12/22 and I know that feeling that it must be something wrong, but the reality is that each office is different even in the same state. Wait 2 more weeks because it seems that most USCIS offices begun to move faster

Hi all! I have my interview for the 29th and I got a call today telling me that my interview would be rescheduled due to recent travel. I called the USCIS contact center for more information but nobody has a record of this cancellation. I called 5 times and spoke to different reps to really make sure someone wasn’t missing anything. All told me that it’s still scheduled for that date. I’m in NY so I’m following the state rules of testing out of quarantine but I’m still told that USCIS wouldn’t cancel like that due to travel. Do I just go to my interview anyway?!? Anyone ever hear of this happening?
