Applied 10/6/2019, interview date 10/5/2020.  Waited for 45 minutes after interview time, while everyone else was getting called, started to panic mildly.  Finally got called in.  Formal interview, but super easy (defusing tension with humor is my thing, had to keep reminding myself that that approach was NOT appropriate in this setting.  Managed to avoid it. Phew.).  Portland are not doing naturalization ceremonies right now so I had the choice of waiting until covid is over, or taking the oath straight after the interview in the beige windowless office with the immigration officer who did the interview.  Obviously I chose the latter (we both stumbled over the "hithertotherefore" part of it and had a bit of a giggle), and got my naturalization certificate 30 minutes later.  Arrived home 30 minutes later and registered to vote (snuck in with 7 days to spare).  Congratulations to all of my fellow Oct 19 filers who have made it through, and best wishes to those who are still waiting for their interview!  It's definitely been a long process (mine started in 2012).  The US is lucky to have us.  Thank you to all of you for your posts on the forums over the years that were both super helpful and also made me feel less alone.

Good evening everyone,

tomorrow is my interview. can you please suggest what documents should i take with me ?

I hope is not late for answer, you should bring regular paperwork witch include everything from your application, birth certificate and tax transcript, passport and your green card, if you have marriage certificate, divorce certificate, or if you have children you also need birth certificate from them. They will not ask you for any of them but is good to have

Great for you all guys, I applied Oct 15 2019, and I'm still waiting for my interview letter... I'm glad that Manhattan is moving a bit faster than Brooklyn, I have some hope now... hopefully I receive something before the year ends...
